PAX Gold (PAXG) is a gold-backed token issued by Paxos, where each token represents one fine troy ounce of physical gold stored in secure vaults with regular audits and redeemability for physical gold. It brings traditional gold ownership on-chain for trading and collateral. PAXG maintains a 1:1 backing with allocated gold.
